In October 2005, the
Charles County Arts Community was awarded the Public
Sector Merit Award at the Economic Development
Summit in recognition of the impact that the arts
community has on our local economy and overall
quality of life. On behalf of the entire Arts
Community, the CCAA accepted the plaque and thanked
the Department of Economic Development and Charles
County Commissioners for this honor, and encouraged
local businesses to continue their support of the
arts in Charles County, Maryland. |
