Operating (deadline July 21, 2008) or Special
Project Grants (deadline: 21 days after completion of the
project)
NEW CCAA Grant
Opportunity:
"Limited
Partnership" Mini Grant Program
- In
order to extend funding to a broader range of organizations and
activities than are presently served, not-for-profit
organizations that are producing a single arts event may apply to the Limited Partnership Mini
Grant Program for funding from the CCAA.
- A
single arts event may be a one-time production or a project
covering several months, culminating in a public presentation of the end
result of the project.
- The proposed event/presentation must be artistic
(music, art, drama, dance, literature, media) or
cultural in design, involve and/or benefit members of the community
at large and open to all members of the community.
- Organizations
may not apply, if they have already received funding for the same
event/project
from the CCAA through its Community Arts Development or Artists in
Education Grant
program.
- Applications will be considered on a quarterly
basis
(January to March, etc.) and the event/presentation must occur during
the quarter for which the funding is being requested.
Requests must be submitted by email, no later than
the last day of the previous quarter.
Follow the
submission schedule below. For example, do not
apply in December for an event taking place in the April thru June time
frame.
- Applicant
organizations must give due
recognition to MSAC and the CCAA in all of its publicity
activities.
- Applicant
organizations are to submit a
single page narrative (e-mail or hard copy) to the CCAA, describing
their proposed event/presentation that includes the total real dollar
cost figure, in-kind donations, sponsor(s), time frame, and number of
potential participants. A
single page, final report is also required describing the actual
outcome/final results, with financial and audience data within 15 days
of the completion of the production or presentation.
- The amount of funding requested is to be no less
than $250, nor more than $500 and must be matched on a minimum of a one-to-one
basis by the applicant organization.
-
The CCAA Board of Directors will determine the
approval
of an applicant organization for the Limited Partnership Program at the
monthly board meeting (second Tuesday of January, April, July and
