The Charles County Arts Alliance (CCAA) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization.  As such, our volunteers are the life-blood of our organization, and without these volunteers, we would cease to exist!  Each year, thousands of volunteer hours are donated willingly by our volunteers to ensure we are successful in our efforts to promote the arts and enhance the quality of life in Charles County.

Volunteers serve as Board members, committee chairs and members, and help out periodically at various CCAA-sponsored events in the community throughout the year.  We are a dynamic organization that is continually on the move with various programs, projects, and we could use your help anytime!

Here are some of the periodic events and activities we sponsor each year that rely on extra volunteers to lend a hand to make it happen:

  • Arts Bags
  • “ArtsFest” Countywide Arts Festival
  • “Back to School” Art Boxes
  • CCAA Annual Grantee and Membership Gala
  • CCAA Annual Membership Meeting and Reception
  • Charles County Fair – P.D. Brown Fine Arts Building
  • “Meet the Artist” Gallery Receptions
  • Office/Administrative Work
  • Seminars and Workshops

You do not need to be a CCAA paid member to volunteer with us for these periodic events and activities – we welcome your help at any time throughout the year.  If you have some free time or several hours to spare, please let us know and we will put you to work!
